THANK YOU Staunton CUSD #6 residents for voting on the bond proposal. Unofficial results from the election showed 56.53% voting in favor of the proposal in Macoupin County and 56.16% voting in favor of the proposal in Madison County. A 50% majority was required for the measure to pass. The bond issue will fund projects to address critical facility needs, with a primary focus on the high school. Updated classrooms and labs will be built to improve the learning environment for students. The improvements will also include enhanced safety and accessibility. Mr. Korte's Class held a mock election today to parallel this year's upcoming election on Nov. 5th. Students in 5th-8th completed a full cycle of the voting process, from registration to casting their own ballots. Not only did they organize & execute the election procedures, but they also were able to understand the importance and power of their voting rights! #TerrierPride #LeadChallengeAchieve
