Ms. Summers is a graduate of Illinois State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Middle School Education. This year marks Lauren’s first year of teaching, and she is excited to begin this new journey with our students.
She is especially looking forward to getting to know her students, building relationships, and growing alongside them throughout the school year.

Beginning the morning of Friday, September 4th, bricks from the old high school building will be available for pickup in the north high school parking lot. Bricks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Because the quantity is limited, we respectfully ask that each person take only a few bricks so that as many community members as possible have an opportunity to receive one.
Those taking bricks may make a donation to the Staunton Education Foundation if they wish; however, donations are completely optional.

SENIORS: Parking passes will be available for purchase ($25) beginning Thursday, August 27th at 9:00 a.m. We will sell Senior parking passes until Friday at 2:00 p.m.
On Monday, parking passes will be available for JUNIOR to purchase beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Make up individual picture day for fall sports is August 21st at 9:00 am in the main gym. This would be for softball, baseball, and xc.
The parent/player meeting for high school and junior high will be held tonight (8/11/2026) at the NET Church due to construction. We will begin at 6:30 pm. Mr. Nichols will be joining us as our Junior High PE Paraprofessional, High School JV Baseball Head Coach, and Junior High Baseball Head Coach.
He attended Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). In addition to that, he has 5 kids at home!
When asked what he's looking forward to most, he shared:
"I’m looking forward to making a positive impact on students, building strong relationships, and being involved in the school community through academics and athletics."
