Junior high softball practice/tryout on Monday and Tuesday will be from 8 to 9:30 AM due to the heat.

What a weekend for our Terrier Track Team at the State Meet! 🏆🐾
Representing the Terriers this weekend were:
• Leah Moore in the 1600m run and 800m run
• Keely Edwards in the 100m dash
• McKenna Miller, Avielle Spudich, Elena Oller, and Keely Edwards in the 4x100m relay
• Keely Edwards, Elena Oller, Avielle Spudich, and Leah Moore in the 4x400m relay
A huge congratulations to Leah Moore for an incredible performance, bringing home:
🥇 1st Place in the 800m
🥇 1st Place in the 1600m
📍 New State Record in the 1600m with a time of 5:17.18!
The girls 4x400 relay team also had an outstanding race, finishing as State Runner-Up with a 🥈 2nd Place finish!
To top it all off, the Terrier Track Team finished 2nd overall at the State Meet! What an amazing accomplishment for this team and coaching staff. We are so proud of all of your hard work and success this season!

7th & 8th Graders participated in the Olympiad this past week. One of the 7th Grade teams placed 2nd out of 36 teams. Way to go SJHS!
Dear Staunton CUSD #6 Families,
Due to the forecasted severe weather expected to move into our area this afternoon, all Staunton School District schools will dismiss early today (4/27/2026) at 1:30 PM. There will be no afternoon Preschool Classes.
This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff. All after-school activities and events scheduled for today are canceled.
