It's time for the Patriot's Pen Essay Contest! This youth essay competition gives 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. Prizes and scholarships are available to students based on entry into this particular contest. Essays can be dropped off at the SJHS office by Friday, October 31 - no later. Last year, we took the time to "spotlight" our elementary teachers so the community could learn a little more about them. This year we're focusing on our junior high staff! First up is Mr. Sherfy! His students describe him as "loud, bossy, and intimidating."
