Ms. Moore from the Macoupin County Health Department was invited to speak to students in Mrs. Grammer’s Advisory class about peer pressure, the positive and the negative types,  and ways to deal with the negative.  These sixth graders were great listeners and participants.  A big thank you goes out to Ms. Moore for talking to our students on this important topic. 👏🏼 #TerrierPride #LeadChallengeAchieve

Mrs. Klein’s 8th grade students had a sweet week filled with creativity and holiday cheer! Students completed a descriptive writing activity where they became real estate agents, and created flyers to sell their gingerbread houses.

After crafting vivid descriptions, students used AI to generate images of their dream gingerbread homes. Their creativity truly shone, and AI proved to be a fun and highly engaging tool in the writing process.

To top it all off, students then brought their ideas to life by building their very own gingerbread houses. Fun—and learning—was had by all!
