High School Spring IL ACT State Testing!!
Current 9th - 11th grade students will be testing on Wednesday, April 9. Attendance is very important that day. Students need to come with their Chromebooks fully charged.
Juniors have an opportunity to sign up for ACT Prep classes starting the week of March 3 on Mondays and Thursdays. Classes start at 7:30am and will be offered through April 9th. Students can sign up in the main high school office.

Last night WSMI interviewed our seniors. One question was about our fan section. While asking the question, Mr. Bowler, teared up. He was so impressed with them. Our Dawg Pound was amazing!!!! You made Staunton proud.
Congratulations to Madelyn Davin and Mollie McCalla! Each was chosen to receive a $1,000 SAE grant through the National FFA Organization. Both students will utilize the grant funds to continue to grow their agricultural businesses, where Davin grows and processes loofah gourds and McCalla owns and operates a pulse-electromagnetic field therapy business for both livestock and companion animals .
Their applications were selected from among 1,238 applications nationwide! Great work!!

We are hosting the Boys' Regionals for basketball. Games are on Wednesday, Feb. 26th and Friday, Feb. 28th. It is $7 for everyone. No passes are allowed. Students must pay per IHSA.

Staunton CUSD #6 Families : Just a reminder that if your student is going to be absent from school, a parent/guardian must call the school office to report the absence. This phone call should be made before 10:00 AM. If you are not immediately able to get through to a secretary, please leave a message with your child's name and reason for the absence. Please also note that doctor's notes are required for an absence to be excused after the first ten absences. These absences should also be called in.
