Good morning SHS Families,

Unfortunately, due to the construction, the high school does not currently have water and the timeline for it to be turned back on is uncertain. As a result, the HIGH SCHOOL ONLY will be running a 12:30 PM dismissal schedule today (8/6/2025).
If your child is a bus rider, they are welcome to stay the afternoon, and we will ensure they are supervised until buses are dismissed. In addition, if you are unable to pick up your child early, they are welcome to stay until the normal dismissal time. Lunches are still available for any student before they leave today.
We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your support and cooperation!

Due to construction and the early start to the school year, we will be combining Open House and Freshman Orientation into one night on July 31st from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. There will not be a formal presentation, but teachers, administrators, and staff will be available to answer questions. You don't need to attend, but we would love to see everyone ahead of the first day of school! Please park in the high school lot or behind the school and make your way to the bus lane. We will have that door open for you to access the high school. We will be meeting with all classes during the first week of school to go over logistics with construction and expectations. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this.
