Staunton High School

The Bulldog Business Club hosted its holiday party on Monday, December 15th. The group played "Build Your Stax" which is an online investing simulation/game. The students were able to build a portfolio that included stocks, bonds, CDs, index funds, and commodities based on a random 20-year time period in U.S. economic history. Ella Pirok was the big winner on the day, with Luke Moore (2nd), Jack Wieseman (4th), and Cole Rather (5th) also finishing in the top five.

We enjoyed seeing our CNA students complete their pinning ceremony tonight. It was the culmination of a LOT of hard work! Congrats!!

It was amazing seeing Emily Eldred in the St. Louis Wind Symphony Youth Ensemble. Another SHS student doing great things!

📚✨ Staunton High School Scholastic Bowl Update!

On Saturday, the Staunton High School Scholastic Bowl team competed in the SCSL Scholastic Bowl Tournament against 16 schools, including Granite City, Southwestern, Litchfield, Cumberland, Bond County, Mount Olive, Bunker Hill, Metro East Lutheran, Carlinville, Lincolnwood, Alton, Calhoun, Brussels, North Mac, Hillsboro, and Staunton.

We’re proud to share that Staunton placed 4th overall with a strong 6-3 record!

Boys Basketball Home Opener Tomorrow!

Roxana "Hoopsgiving" has been postponed!

Student Council and FFA students wanted to give back to the community this Thanksgiving and worked to put together meal baskets to distribute. We are thankful for students and sponsors who take pride in service to others.
