8th Grade Families,
This is a reminder that 8th grade students will be taking the Illinois Science Assessment this week. Attached is the letter that was sent home last month with pertinent testing information. A couple of specific reminders to keep in mind that you can relay to your child include:
-take this assessment seriously, so put forth your best effort
-bring headphones
-remember your Chromebook
-charge your Chromebook each night, so that it’s ready to go for testing
-get a good night’s sleep
-eat a healthy breakfast
-bring something to do at the conclusion of your test in order to remain occupied while other students are still working

It's the final round of the March Madness Food Drive!! The following classes will be competing for the championship:
Mrs. DeCourcey (1st Grade) vs. Mrs. Joyce (K)
Mrs. Klein (4th Grade) vs. Mrs. Nungesser (4th Grade)
Mrs. Blevins (7th Grade) vs. Mr. Peterson (7th Grade)
The final round is soups/condiments. All items must be turned in by the end of the day on Wednesday. We've collected over 4,500 items as of today!! Stay tuned to see which classes come out victorious!

With over 1,200 items donated this week, we are getting ready to wrap up our 1st round. Thank you to everyone that has donated so far! We are looking forward to seeing how many items our school can donate to Staunton Helping Hands.
