Staunton School District Summer Food Service Program - Notification to the Community
Staunton Families: The School District will be offering meals as part of the Summer Food Service Program. Meals are available to all children, 18 and under in the community. The Summer Food Service Program will run from June 3, 2024 - June 27, 2024. Meals will be served Monday - Thursday. There will be no meals served on June 19, 2024.
-The breakfast service will be from 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM in the Elementary Community Room.
-The lunch service will be from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM in the Elementary Community Room.
Please fill out the linked Google form if you and your family will take advantage of this program. These meals have no cost.

It is with much excitement that we share with our community that the Staunton FFA Chapter has been ranked a National FFA Finalist, top 37 ag programs in Illinois, and the Section 15 Premier Chapter with the National Chapter Award!
The National Chapter Award Program is designed to recognize FFA Chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the FFA Organization through events that build community, grow leaders, and strengthen agriculture.
The Staunton program was also named the Section 15 Winner & received a ⚡️GOLD⚡️ranking in all areas of the National Chapter Award which include:
🔨 Building Communities-Activities conducted to build a stronger community in Streator
📈 Growing Leaders-Activties that grow better leaders in Streator
💪 Strengthening Agriculture-Activities that strengthen and educate people about agriculture.
Good luck as they represent Staunton at the 2024 State FFA Convention in June and at 2024 National FFA Convention in October!


Senior, Kylie Lucykow was selected as this year's St. Louis Post-Dispatch Scholar Athlete from Staunton High School. In its 58th year, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Scholar Athlete program honors one student from every area school, a requirement being that they participate in athletics and excel in the classroom. Kylie was honored at the Cardinal baseball game last night. Great job, Kylie!

The Bulldog Business Club announced its stock market winners and celebrated senior members at its last meeting of the year on Monday. Eliza Feldman and Blake Moore took home 1st place in the stock market contest by returning 49.7% on their investments in NVIDIA (NVDA), The Metals Company (TMC), DexCom (DXCM), and Rivian (RIVN).
This year's senior members included (L to R) Katie Cook, Eliza Feldman, Kylie Lucykow, Lilly Burke, Jack Gagnon, Blake Moore, Victor Buehler, Thomas Ogata, Max Eldred, and Dillon Pritchett. Ava Roller and Aubree Eckhardt are not pictured.

PSAT/SAT testing on April 17th. Seniors have a form that needs to be filled out and turned into the office on April 18th, so that they are counted as being in attendance. 9th, 10th, and 11th grades have been told that if they arrive on time with their Chromebooks charged and with a Chromebook charger, that they will be able to leave after the test is completed. Please make arrangements for non-drivers to be picked up. Please direct any questions to the high school office.
