Staunton Families: The Staunton School District Library will be open to the public from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM today, Monday, May 13th for a books surplus event. This is taking place in preparation for the library renovation project occurring this summer.

Mr. Lotter is a stable presence in our buildings! He does an excellent job meeting each student exactly where they're at and students see him as someone who can be relied on. The support he shows to students and staff is greatly appreciated!

Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Rizzi
Mrs. Rizzi is one of the "go-to" people for anything and everything! Parents, students, and staff members rely on her kind, helpful disposition for many things throughout the day. We are lucky to have her!

Staff Spotlight: Nurse Ashleigh
Nurse Ashleigh's pride in the care and wellbeing of our students shines through in all she does at Staunton Schools. Our students know that she will do her very best to fix or help with whatever ails them! We're so lucky to have had her with us these last 3 years! Good luck on your next adventure, nurse Ashleigh!

Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Lawrence
Mrs. Lawrence continuously incorporates new and exciting games into speech therapy. The connections she builds with her students is evident in the success she has with them. Mrs. Lawrence's believes that practice+fun=success!

Staff Spotlight: Ms. Robertson
Ms. Robertson works diligently to help even our smallest students voice their thoughts! Her kind face and fun teaching style has kids literally skipping to her room. We love the confidence she instills in each of her students.

Mrs. Blevins's 7th grade physical science students had so much fun testing various substances to see how they would react when exposed to acid, oxygen, and fire!

Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Weller
Mrs. Weller's PE lessons are full of learning and fun! The implementation of her walking club this year has been an awesome experience for our students. Mrs. Weller's classes are instrumental in helping students build character!

Mrs. Muffler and Mr. Smiddy are taking advantage of the nice weather while working with our native drummers outside!

Mr. Clark joined us after student teaching here! During his time with us, he has worked with and made connections with students across all 3 of our buildings. Mr. Clark is someone that our students trust and have a lot of respect for!

Staff Spotlight: Ms. Tharp
Ms. Tharp's first year with us has brought art education back to Staunton Elementary. Her classroom explores different art concepts and mediums with project based learning! We've really enjoyed seeing the art that her students are creating in our hallways!
