Fine Arts Day and Gallery Night were a huge success this year! We love seeing our students’ creativity, talent, and hard work on display for the community to enjoy. There was incredible artwork, outstanding performances, and so much more! The night was a wonderful celebration of the arts at our school.

Dear Staunton CUSD #6 Families,
Due to the forecasted severe weather expected to move into our area this afternoon, all Staunton School District schools will dismiss early today (4/27/2026) at 1:30 PM. There will be no afternoon Preschool Classes.
This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff. All after-school activities and events scheduled for today are canceled.

Students in the 2nd grade classes researched ants and created their own ant colony. They had to give two entrances to their ant hills plus chambers for resting, a nursery, the queen, and food. This goes along with our reading curriculum where they are learning about insects!
