This is a friendly reminder to you our transportation shed will be open this evening from 5 PM to 7 PM for our families needing to obtain their child’s bus route and pick up/drop off times for the 20-21 school year.

We are expecting severe thunderstorms in Staunton this evening at about the same time our virtual Schoology training will begin. If there is a power outage that enables us to hold our virtual training this evening please join us for Schoology training on Wednesday, August 12th at 6 PM. We are hoping we can get in the training before the thunderstorms hit. Thank you.

We will offer two virtual Schoology parent trainings this week. Our virtual Schoology parent trainings will held on Monday, August 10th and Wednesday, August 12th. Please note Tuesday night's virtual Schoology training will be canceled due to open house. We rescheduled Tuesday evening's training for Wednesday evening. Good evening Staunton Families, Just a reminder that tonight is Kindergarten Orientation. Mrs.Carter and Mrs.Brown 5:30-6:30 Mrs.Heim and Ms.Gowin 6:30-7:30 We ask that all families to enter through the Community Room entrance on the south side of the campus. Please wear a mask and we will be taking temperatures upon entry. And we ask that only one parent accompany each student. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!

Staunton Families: If you have chosen for your child to participate as an elective remote learner to start the school year, please review the information below to pick up a device for your student. All 3rd - 12th grade students who need a device for elective remote learning should drive up to the library entrance of the school on Monday, August 10th between the hours of 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and you will receive a Chromebook. All K - 2nd grade students who need a device for elective remote learning should drive up to the library entrance of the school on Monday, August 17th between the hours of 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and you will receive an iPad. Additionally, any elementary student who ordered a school supply box will receive it when he/she picks up a device. Open House / Supply Drop-Off (Tuesday, August 11, 5:00PM-7:00 PM) Traditional Open House/School Supply Drop-Off is designed to give parents and students an opportunity to meet & greet their teachers and become more familiar with the layout of the building. We are sending this message out to encourage you not to attend Open House / Supply Drop-Off if you are familiar with the building. The goal in sending this out to you is to minimize the number of parents and students in the building. Supplies can be brought in during the first days of student attendance. If you choose to attend this event, please limit your group size to one parent and the child attending that building. Our drivers and transportation department will be available during Open House / Supply Drop-Off to answer questions and provide pick and drop off times. This year our drivers will be located at the bus garage to answer any questions on Tuesday, August 11, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. Macoupin County Health Department will be at Staunton Schools today from 9 AM to 1 PM for any student needing a school physical and/or immunizations.

New Student Registration is Monday, August 3rd from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. All new students and their families can complete the registration process at the school office. Online registration is completed using Skyward Family access. Please review the documentation and return your completed fee waiver in the postage paid envelope.
