Beginning the morning of Friday, September 4th, bricks from the old high school building will be available for pickup in the north high school parking lot. Bricks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Because the quantity is limited, we respectfully ask that each person take only a few bricks so that as many community members as possible have an opportunity to receive one.
Those taking bricks may make a donation to the Staunton Education Foundation if they wish; however, donations are completely optional.

PARKING: We have always had limited parking, but it will be more limited this year since faculty can no longer park behind the building. Those students who have purchased a parking pass can park in the lot and all others will need to find available street parking. Please do not wait until the last minute to arrive at school or you may not find parking that is close in proximity to the building.
CLASSES: There will be a grace period as students navigate finding their classes. The only class that will not be connected to the new building is PE. There will be no dressing in PE uniforms this year, since we do not have easy access to locker rooms. PE uniforms will resume being sold next year.
LOCKERS: Students will have access to their locker numbers via Skyward on Friday and will be able to access them the first day of school.
LUNCH: Open campus will resume this year as in previous years. Freshmen will remain on campus and will be able to eat outside if weather permits and if not, we will have designated areas where they can eat should they choose to buy or bring lunch.
ENTRY AND EXIT: Students will come in and out of the building through the same doors they used last year. Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Boyer, and Mrs. Martin are in the library area which will be used as a temporary office area until ours is ready to use.
COUNSELING: Mrs. Cearlock is in her new office which is across from the main gym.
ADMINISTRATION: Ms. Schwappach and Ms. Griffith will be in the hallways on rolling desks until the buildings are able to be connected. The best way to reach an administrator will be via email, since we will not be by a phone.
This will be different for students and staff alike as we establish temporary routines and those routines will adjust again for the 27/28 school year. We hope that students will feel a sense of pride in their new building and that they are excited to return and begin a successful start to the 26/27 school year!
