Boys’ Soccer Gives Back to SHS! Recently, the Staunton High School Boys’ Soccer Team was honored to award Staunton High School Principal, Mr. Brett Allen, with a check for ten percent of the total funds raised by the team this past season to be deposited into the Education Fund. The team had an incentive-based fundraiser in which the players received donations based upon their performance throughout the season. The fundraiser was called “Goals for a Goal,” and the premise behind it was quite simple – the more goals scored, the more money raised. The team would like to thank all of the individuals who donated and a special thanks to all of the local businesses that contributed to the fundraiser this year!
