Due to a lack of student interest, we have canceled the fan bus for the girls basketball game tonight. At this time only 6 students have signed up. We needed at least 20-25.

SAT Prep offered at Staunton High School
All Staunton High School juniors are invited to sign up for the SAT Prep offered during 8th hour. Class will meet on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, beginning February 27th thru the SAT test date. If you are serious about doing your best, want to gain points on your test score and potentially earn more scholarship money based upon your result, this prep will help you achieve this goal! Both English and math portions will be reviewed, along with basic test-taking tips. Classes will be taught by subject certified teachers.

Girl’s basketball game for tomorrow morning is cancelled.

Varsity Girl's Basketball has one game tomorrow at 11:00 against Pawnee.

PROM will be held on April 29th at the Alhambra Fireman and Legion Park located at 610 West Main Street in Alhambra. It is an indoor venue to alleviate concerns about spring weather. More detailed information to follow.

Staunton CUSD #6 Families: Due to the freezing precipitation and hazardous road conditions, the Staunton School District will be closed today, Monday, January 30, 2023. This is a Snow Day and there will be no e-learning. Athletic Directors will be in contact with coaches regarding extracurricular activities. Please stay warm and stay safe!

Lilly Bandy may have come up short for player of the week for the Springfield Journal, but she’s player of the week in our hearts. She ended up in second with over 3,000 votes!!!!


Haris Legendre-reaches 1000 points on 1/17 at the County Tournament, but we celebrated her at our home win on 1/23. Way to go Haris!
