Congratulations to the Scholastic bowl team for placing 3rd at the County Tournament last night. Southwestern took 1st and Carlinville took 2nd. Staunton won against Mount Olive 280 - 60, against North Mac 300 to 110 and Gillspie 250 to 100. Scoring toss up questions for the Staunton team were Ava Roller, Joseph Siegfried, Carson Buffington, Max Eldred, Blake Moore, Brady Seelback. All team members contributed to the bonus questions.
Congratulations are also in order for Joseph Siegfried, Max Eldred and Blake Moore for being named to the All Sectional team. Joseph Siegfried will advance to All State Consideration.

Congratulations to our 8th Grade VB Team as they placed 3rd at the Carlinville Tournament Saturday! It was a hard fought game and the girls displayed tremendous effort! Great job girls!

The most updated forecast from the National Weather Service continues to predict that a mixed precipitation of freezing rain and sleet will move into our school district mid day. As a result, the Staunton School District is transitioning to a 11:30 AM Dismissal Schedule for Thursday, February 24, 2022.
All extracurricular activities scheduled for this evening are also cancelled.
There will be no afternoon Pre-Kindergarten or ECE class today (2/24/22).
