8th Grade Full Remote Learning Schedule

8th Grade Families:

Starting on Friday, October 8th, all 8th Grade Students are expected to participate in Full Remote Learning.  Full Remote Learning will run through Sunday, October 17th.  8th grade students can return to in-person instruction on Monday, October 18th.  

The primary mode of instruction will be the Schoology Platform.  Listed below is the remote learning schedule:

GRADE 6 THROUGH 8 DAILY SCHEDULE

  • Teacher’s Work Hours:  8:00 - 3:50. 

  • Daily attendance WILL be taken by the classroom teacher utilizing Schoology, classroom participation and/or work completion.

  • Each 40-minute class block will consist of direct instruction and independent work.

  • Grade level teachers will meet with their students daily for direct instruction using “Conferences”, Google Meets, Zoom or other media. 

  • Students in Rotation classes will receive their assignments on Schoology and there will NOT be conferences for that period.  Attendance will be taken by completion of required work.

  • Students in Special Education classes will receive their assignments through  Schoology or through paper packets and there will NOT be conferences for that period.  Attendance will be taken by completion of required work.

8:43 AM - 9:23 AM

3rd Period

9:26 AM - 10:06 AM

4th Period

10:09 AM - 10:49 AM

5th Period

10:52 AM - 11:22 AM

7th Period

11:25 AM - 12:05 PM

8th Period

12:08 PM - 12:48 PM

Teacher/Student Lunch

12:50 PM - 1:30 PM 

Students:  Independent Work Time Completed In Schoology for All 7 class periods

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM   During this time, please don’t hesitate to contact your teachers via Schoology or email if you have any questions about your assignments.

Important Information: 

Please note that when a teacher is not meeting with their whole class using “Conferences” or another media they may hold small group instruction with students, hold individual conferences with students, or assess student work.
