Staunton CUSD 6 Families:
Open House is scheduled for the following dates and times:
Pre-K - 5th Grade - Monday, August 15th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
6th Grade - 12th Grade - Tuesday, August 16th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Parents and students should enter the building at the following locations for open house:
Pre-K - 3rd Grade enter through the Community Room Doors
4th Grade - 8th Grade enter through the Main Elementary/Jr. High Office Doors
9th Grade - 12th Grade enter through the Library Doors
Teachers will be near their classrooms for a brief introduction and to greet students and families. If you would like to discuss your individual child with a teacher, please schedule that via email. Feel free to bring in your school supplies to drop off in your locker or classroom.
School offices will be open if families need to complete any additional registration paperwork or drop off any required records.
Additionally, all families who have a student riding the bus will need to attend Open House and visit the Main Gym Lobby to receive pertinent bus information.
The first day of student attendance is Wednesday, August 17th.
School will be in session from 8:10 AM to 3:05 PM.
Doors to the building and cafeteria will not open until 7:40 AM. Please do not leave your child unattended at the school before 7:40 AM.
Student meals are no longer free for the 2022-2023 school year. Please ensure that your child has money in his/her account or the appropriate free/reduced lunch paperwork has been completed and submitted to the office.
Students will enter the building at the following locations in the morning:
Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 2 = Enter the building near the community room.
Grade 3 - Grade 5 = Enter the building near the elementary office.
Grade 6 - Grade 8 = Enter the building near the main gym.
Grade 9 - Grade 12 = Enter the building near the library.
