The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area through Thursday, February 24th. It is forecasted that sleet, snow, and ice could directly impact travel on our roadways. For the latest updates about the timing of this weather event and information, please click HERE.
Staunton School District administration will be actively monitoring weather conditions throughout the evening and during the day tomorrow (Thursday). Our number one priority is student safety and if road conditions begin deteriorating to the point where they are unsafe, the district could transition to E-Learning or transition to an early dismissal schedule. The district will communicate any decision such as this as soon as possible to ensure families can make child care arrangements.
