The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM on Thursday, February 17th. It is expected that temperatures will drop rapidly and this could cause road conditions to deteriorate quickly. Staunton School District administration will be actively monitoring weather conditions throughout the evening and during the day tomorrow (Thursday). Our number one priority is student safety and if road conditions begin deteriorating to the point where they are unsafe, the district will POSSIBLY dismiss early in order to ensure everyone's safety. The district will communicate any decision such as this as soon as possible to ensure families can make child care arrangements.
