Beginning in June the regular scheduled meetings of the Staunton CUSD #6 Board of Education will be held on the third Wednesday of each month. The purpose is to allow for increased communication of agenda and information prior to the meetings. Meeting agendas and packets will continue to be released to the public on the Friday prior to the meeting allowing five days for public review instead of the statutory minimum of two days. The upcoming meeting will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Unit Library. Business items include finalizing intergovernmental agreements for the 2019-20 school year. The Board will also consider summer maintenance projects involving LED lighting at the elementary and junior high schools, baseball field maintenance, and drainage improvements.
