November – Dairy Queen Night (eat at DQ and PTO receives 20% of proceeds) February – Spring pictures (PTO receives 25% of proceeds from all picture orders) March – Hardees Night (eat at Hardees and PTO receives 20% of proceeds) April 4 - Spring Fling May – PTO provides cookies and punch for 8th grade promotion PTO Meetings (third Tuesday/month for 45-60 minutes in Home-Ec Room) Thursday August 28 September 16 October 21 November 18 December 16 January 20 February 17 March 17 April 21 May 19 Don’t let daycare stop you from coming to the meetings – bring the kids with you! We will have activities for them to keep busy! Staunton PTO We would like to thank the parents who brought their children out to the PTO Fall Festival last weekend. By the looks on the kid’s faces, it seemed like they had a great time! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped plan, work, set-up and clean up after the event and so generously donated items for the Fall Festival. We would like to especially thank our costume contest judges, Bob Mertz, Ron Maedge, Ron Dustman, Anthony Saracco, Debbie Evans and Mark Bryant. The kids really enjoyed spending time with our own hometown heroes! The PTO is planning more fun events to raise money for new playground equipment for Staunton Elementary School and AR Graiff Elementary School. With a goal this big, we will need everyone’s help!!! Mark your calendars for the next PTO fundraiser - “Crop for Kids” on January 19, 2008. We welcome all scrapbookers, beginners to advanced to join us for a day of fun! We will have several scrapbook vendors available for shopping, mini workshops, and prizes! More details will follow in the next few weeks. It is really important that more parents get involved in the PTO. Without your help, the PTO will not be able to accomplish their goal of new playground equipment, or even provide the many extras for the teachers and students throughout the year. The next PTO meeting is Tuesday, November 20 at 7:00 in the Home-Ec Room and we hope to see you there! Thanks For Visiting!
