HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Job Certification: Administrative Certificate
Salary/Benefits: Salary and Benefit package will be regionally competitive based on qualifications and experience. Residency is required.
Duties: The primary responsibility of the High School Principal shall be to oversee and lead improvements in curriculum, instructional methods, and implementation of the Common Core Standards; as well as ensure a safe, healthy, and productive school environment. In addition, the principal must recognize the role of technology in student learning and professional growth and have experience using technology to enrich curriculum and instruction.
Qualifications: Valid Illinois Type 75 Administrative Certificate. Successful experience in school administration preferred, but not required. Candidate must demonstrate excellence as an educational leader with strong organizational and problem solving skills. Candidate must be a team player with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and posses ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, the administrative team, and Board of Education.
Additional Notes: There are approximately 430 students and 38 certified staff. Other responsibilities include Chairperson of Student/Parent Discipline Advisory Committee, District Professional Development Activity Coordinator, Technology Plan Co-Chair, School Improvement Plan and RtI plan.

ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL

Additional Notes: There are approximately 850 students and 50+ certified staff. Other responsibilities include NCLB Proposal, Preschool for All 3-5 Proposal, Free/Reduced - Breakfast/Lunch application program, School Improvement Plan, RtI plan, and other applicable programs where funds are allocated.
